Abstract:
A new method for an index one regularization of networks using a
minimal number of additional elements is presented. It is applicable
to linear electrical networks that may contain independent voltage and
current sources, time-invariant resistors, capacitors, inductors, and
nullator-norator pairs. The algorithm uses the network topology alone
and is based on the concept of normal pairs of conjugate trees.
